Dr Al-Jundi is dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care through up-to-date and high clinical standards. Born in the UAE, he excelled in high school in Abu Dhabi as he achieved the 7th highest score in the UAE and graduated with distinction from Jordan University of Science and Technology medical school in 2004.

After completing extensive surgical training in South Yorkshire, UK, Dr Al-Jundi pursued fellowships in minimally invasive vascular procedures at renowned centres such as Freeman Hospital in Newcastle and the University of Toronto Hospitals in Canada. Alongside his clinical expertise, he holds Mater of Science (MSc) from Cardiff University, Master of Education (MEd) from Sheffield University and Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of East Anglia (UEA).

Dr Al-Jundi is a senior clinical lecturer and instructor at UEA, contributing to several educational programs. He has authored numerous publications and is a co-author of two best-selling postgraduate books in basic surgical training. His NHS practice in the UK involves managing a broad spectrum of vascular diseases, and his special interests include complex endovascular aortic procedures, diagnosing and treating thoracic outlet syndrome, and performing endovenous procedures for varicose veins.

Appointed Deputy Medical Director of Veincentre Ltd in 2021, the largest private provider of venous services in the UK, Dr Al-Jundi contributes to leadership and training programs for vascular surgeons and interventional radiologists. Bringing his expertise back to the UAE, he is now Medical Director of UK Veincentre (UKVC) in Dubai, offering comprehensive vein treatment services to the region.

Dr Al-Jundi is not only a dedicated medical professional but also enjoys football, cycling, bodybuilding, and tennis, while cherishing time spent travelling with his small family.

Dr Krishnan serves as the training and education lead at UKVC. Specialising in both arterial and venous procedures, he is well-versed in all aspects of vascular and non-vascular intervention. He offers treatments for pelvic congestion syndrome and excels in diagnosing and treating deep vein thrombosis (DVT).

Having trained in minimally invasive varicose vein treatments under Dr David West at Veincentre Ltd in 2015, Dr Krishnan has now conducted over 2500 laser treatments (EVLA) and performs both foam and microsclerotherapy procedures.

Following a dedicated two-year fellowship in Glasgow, he became a Consultant at Manchester Royal Infirmary in 2012, overseeing the largest vascular unit in the UK. Dr Krishnan now serves as the lead consultant for complex vascular and aortic interventions and the Clinical Director for Governance and Patient Safety in the Division of Imaging.

An accomplished author in Interventional Radiology, Dr Krishnan has multiple peer-reviewed publications in high-impact journals and regularly presents at national and international conferences. His contributions have earned him awards from prestigious societies, including the Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiological Society of Europe (CIRSE) and the British Society of Interventional Radiologists (BSIR). In 2014, he received the CIRSE Editor’s Medal for the Best Scientific Research Paper on Uterine Fibroid Embolisation.

Residing in Manchester with his wife and two daughters, Dr Krishnan is an avid runner who has completed various races, including the Manchester Marathon.

Dr Regi specialises in minimally invasive image-guided surgery, particularly focused on varicose vein treatments. Formerly a lead in Vascular Intervention for trauma and complex aneurysm repair (EVAR) in the UK, Dr Regi received extensive training with UK experts and leaders, choosing a basic surgical rotation for a strong foundation in surgical techniques.

Having trained in minimally invasive varicose vein treatments with Dr David West at Veincentre Ltd in 2014, Dr Regi opened the Nottingham Veincentre Ltd clinic, where he has conducted over 3000 laser treatments and numerous sclerotherapy treatments. With over a decade of experience, he also performs pelvic vein embolisation (PVE) to treat pelvic varicose veins.

Mark is invited faculty at the Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiology Society of Europe (CIRSE), teaching European medical colleagues varicose vein treatments. In addition to being a network clinical lead and interventional radiology trauma lead, he is an associate editor for the trauma journal, contributing to advancing trauma and interventional radiology care.

Passionate about medical education, Dr Regi is an Honorary Clinical Lecturer at Bristol University and the University of Sheffield in the UK, holding a Post Graduate Diploma in Medical Education. For the past decade, he has also volunteered for Festival Medical Services, providing emergency care and coordinating imaging services at music festivals.

Beyond his medical career, Dr Regi enjoys spending time with family, walking his dogs, and cycling in the Peak District.

Dr Ammar boasts extensive expertise in endovascular surgical techniques. Graduating from King’s College London in 1992, she currently practices at Kings College Hospital, a leading teaching hospital and major trauma centre in London, and operates at St Thomas’s Hospital, contributing to an integrated aortic service.

With dual accreditation from the Royal College of Physicians in 2001 and the Royal College of Radiologists in 2006, Dr Ammar specialises in managing complex vascular conditions, with a notable 20-year focus on venous vascular disease. As an investigator in the Academic Unit of Vascular Medicine at King’s College London, she oversaw clinical trials and has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications in prestigious journals.

Dr Ammar is a recognised expert, frequently invited to present and moderate at national and international conferences. Her exceptional achievements have earned accolades from esteemed organisations such as the Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiological Society of Europe (CIRSE) and the British Society of Interventional Radiologists (BSIR). Passionate about teaching, Dr Ammar serves as a clinical and educational supervisor for interventional radiology trainees, extending her expertise to national training courses.

Outside of her professional life, Dr Ammar lives in London with her husband and their two sons. She embraces an active lifestyle, enjoying sports like tennis and running, having completed multiple races, including the London Marathon. Dr Ammar also indulges her adventurous side through scuba diving and loves exploring new destinations through travel.

An astute medical professional with steadfast dedication to the field of Interventional Radiology and 20+ years of clinical experience, initially in surgery and then Interventional Radiology, Dr Alvi has special interests in hepatobiliary, transplant, and interventional oncology, as well as arterial and venous intervention. As a consultant within a pioneering Interventional Radiology group, he is able to tackle diverse and challenging workloads through unwavering commitment.

Beyond practical expertise, he is actively engaged in teaching at various levels, leading to invitations for lectures at national, regional, and international forums. Nominated memberships within the educational committee of Pan Arab Interventional Radiology Society (PAIRS) and the scientific committee for the Saudi Interventional Radiology Society (SIRS), demonstrate an active role in advancing the field.

Dr Alvi offers a staunch commitment to quality processes in medical imaging evidenced through management roles as acting interventional radiology lead and current chairperson for total quality management within the medical imaging department. He is committed to collaboration, teaching, research, audit, and professional development and is continually driven by new challenges with an inherent eagerness to embrace novel projects and roles in dynamic health service.

Dr Shaw qualified from King’s College School of Medicine and Dentistry, London in 1995. He obtained his Membership of the Royal College of Physicians in 1998 and Fellowship of the Royal College of Radiologists in 2002.

After Interventional Radiology fellowship training in Sheffield and Glasgow he was appointed as a Consultant Interventional Radiologist in 2004.

He has been Clinical Lead for Interventional Radiology at Mid Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust from 2008-2013 and at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust from 2015-2020.

He has been a co-investigator in several multi-centre national trials. He is a Senior Lecturer at Leeds University Medical School. He has participated in educational meetings in Egypt.

His subspecialist interests include endovascular treatment of aortic pathologies, advanced peripheral vascular disease and venous diseases. He is a member of the acute trauma team in the UKs second busiest major trauma centre.

He is a keen cyclist who has completed several cycling events including London to Paris, Milan to Rome, Geneva to Nice and most recently Lands’ End to John O’Groats.

Miss Nung Rudarakanchana is a Consultant Vascular Surgeon at London North West University Hospitals.  She has over 20  years of experience in management of varicose veins using minimally invasive techniques and has treated over 3,000 patients.

Born and raised in Oxford, she qualified from Cambridge University School of Medicine in 2004, coming top of her year and winning numerous academic awards. She was NIHR lecturer in surgery at Imperial College, London and conducted studies in endovascular technology and virtual reality simulation.

Nung trained in surgery at major London teaching hospitals including St Mary’s Hospital and St Thomas’ Hospital. She was awarded the prestigious American College of Phlebology Scholarship and the Simpson Smith Travelling Fellowship to further her endovascular and venous experience. 

Nung regularly lectures on vascular and endovascular surgery and has been invited faculty at national and international conferences.  She has delivered numerous training courses, including on endovenous therapy, and has published extensively in the field, including the Royal College of Surgeons Workbook in Venous Disease and the Venous Forum of the Royal Society of Medicine guidelines for treatment of patients with varicose veins.  

Nung’s greatest sporting achievement was winning Blades at Cambridge (as a cox!).  She is now enjoys sweating it out in hot yoga classes and running around after dogs in Primrose Hill and Regent’s Park, where she lives.   She is a keen skier, a qualified sommelier and an amateur cellist.  She loves painting, music and dance, though her skills in all three areas are still developing!

As Clinic Manager, Amina ensures clinic policies comply with DHA regulations, participates in hiring, and engages with elite clients. She manages supplies and documentation, trains and motivates staff, and ensures high standards of professionalism across the clinic. Her leadership skills ensure smooth workflow, resource optimization, fiscal responsibility and continuous improvement in patient care and satisfaction.

Amina graduated with distinction from Ibn Tofail High School in Casablanca, Morocco. She excelled in French and English studies at Tetouan and Mohammaedia from 2008 to 2012, and is now proficient in Arabic, English and French.

During her tenure, Amina managed clinics and laser and cosmetic centers in Dubai, honing her skills in management and healthcare administration. She previously supervised staff at a distinguished hotel in Casablanca, laying the foundation for her career in healthcare management.

Outside of work, Amina enjoys music, swimming, and travelling, where she enjoys visiting natural wonders and exploring diverse cultures.

Nicola has more than 20 years of nursing experience between the UK and the Middle East. She graduated from Staffordshire University in 2004 and worked in Acute Medicine, then Oncology, then more recently vascular nursing and Thermavein treatments. She recently has completed further study in nursing with a BSc (Hons) from the University of Derby.

Nicola has been living and nursing out in Dubai for the past 15 years and is very passionate about her work and patients. She has won numerous awards throughout her nursing career, including Staff Member of the month, Patients Choice Award, Quality Improvement and Hand Hygiene.

In her spare time Nicola enjoys keeping fit, walking her dog (Carlo) scuba diving and travelling.
