Self-funded prices
At UK Veincentre (UKVC) our self-funded prices are upfront and fixed. There are no hidden extras – our varicose vein removal price, for example, includes clinic, consultant and scan fees as well as treatment costs.
Following your initial consultation and scan, you will be provided with a consultation report and quotation, detailing our recommended treatment plan for your vein issues. If we think you will need more than one treatment, or multiple sessions of a treatment, we’ll tell you this upfront, so that you can make an informed decision.
All our quotations are valid for six months, so you can take your time to consider your options and ask us any questions, before booking your treatment.
Varicose veins self-funded prices
Our self-funded varicose vein removal price is outlined below, including the total costs involved in consultation, diagnosis and treatment. If you have varicose veins, the primary treatment plan is likely to be endovenous laser ablation (EVLA), to resolve the underlying venous insufficiency, followed by either foam sclerotherapy or avulsions to resolve the visible varicosities.

Pelvic vein embolisation
Unfortunately we are unable to provide pricing information for pelvic vein embolisation (PVE) to treat pelvic varicose veins, as this must be undertaken in a hospital environment due to the specialist X-ray equipment required. However, our consultants may be able to advise on a suitable local hospital where you can make further enquiries.
Thread veins self-funded prices
The average patient requires 2-4 sessions of microsclerotherapy for thread veins on the legs to be completely removed. For thread veins on the face, the recommended treatment is likely to be thermocoagulation.
In either case, your consultant will discuss the recommended number of treatment sessions with you at your initial consultation appointment.
